Ahta looked slightly amused at the woman's calm demeanor "Yes I suppose it does. But it usually just requires the ability to kick ass well." she laughed lightly at herself and leaned back. "You seem rather calm about this, what exactly kind of "circus" do you run..just out of curiousity?"

Jago hummed and ran her finger around the rim of the mug, asking first, “You go through the underground activity sometimes?” Not bothering for an answer, she continued, “.. It’s Le Cirque, we don’t capture..” She downed the rest of her drink, seeing little grains of sugar at the base of it, “We kill. But this is only for our second point of revenue, we focus mostly on the shows, though.” She looked out the window, looking along the buildings. One couldn’t make a living off of peanuts and Hope, after all.

Ahta arched a brow. She had heard of Le Cirque. "Hm. So you kill do you..sounds like bad business to me. I suppose it's necessary sometimes, but I avoid it as much as possible. Given the right circumstances though..." She trailed off with a sigh. "So you said you were the ringleader? No wonder you look so stressed. Running something like that is bound to be tiring. And pregnant too." She had picked up on the subtle signs, the way she had rubbed her belly earlier the lack of coffee, the weird amount of sugar. It was her job to put details together and that one was a piece of cake. "So how far along are you?"

Jago chuckled a little, well it seemed like she was right on the dot. “Just into my third month, and it’s alright, I suppose.” She’d been killing for a while now, since before the twins were born… before she’d even had the idea of the cirque, which seemed like forever ago. “I’m used to all of the work, and it gives me something to do constantly, especially if the rest of the troupe aren’t doing their jobs or are incapacitated for any reason.” Her mind went to a while ago of their centaur, Lionex, who had been in season. That was a good enough reason for anyone not to come to work.

Ahta nodded. "Well congratulations on the baby do you know what sex it'll be yet?" She made herself comfortable, it wouldn't be long until her client got here and this woman had just proven to be far more interesting then she originally though. "You must be quite the fighter. It would be interesting to see, once your not pregnant of course. I wouldn't want to put the baby at risk."

“Babies,” Jago corrected, giving a small smirk down at her cup before glancing up. “So far we know at least one of them is a boy, but it’d be strange if there wasn’t one boy out of six.” She chuckled at Ahta’s fighter comment, “Just take a visit any day of the week and you’ll find fighting in one form or another. But I could probably give you a run for your money, after I’ve had them of course.”

Ahta nearly spit out her coffee. "Six, you poor poor woman." She looked at her sympathetically before perking up slightly at the answer to her question. "Where is it at? I've heard of it but i'm not sure where to go." She studied her for a moment before nodding. "Yes. I believe you could...though I'm not without my own skill.

The dark woman chuckled softly, waving off Ahta’s surprise. She nearly murdered Eddy when he told her, and continued to have the temptation to end the giant’s life every so often, but Jago wouldn’t. She would loose her mind all by herself.
“Oh? I’ll show you once you’re done with your business if you’d like,” she nodded to the unconscious man in the seat next to Ahta. “It’s just over the hill downtown, in a more secluded section, but you won’t be able to find it on your own, not at this time of day.” They’d been careful to take precautions after all in cloaking their home and job during off hours. Jago nodded, “I don’t doubt that you can‘t be a bounty hunter with no skill.” She paused. “.. well not a living one at least.”

Ahta grinned rather darkly and nodded. "Yeah that would be great, thanks." The little bell tinkled over the door and Ahta looked up. "Well speak of the devil." She stood and lifted the older gentlemen who was still out cold depositing in the arms of the surprised business men who staggered slightly under the weight. Ahta held out her hands and counted the money when it was handed over before grabbing his arm. "I believe there was a late fee I demanded if I had to wait for the target." The business man grunted and glowered at Ahta before pulling out another set of bills slapping it into the woman's hand. "Thank you." She sneered at the man before pocketing the money.
She joined Jago back at the table and smirked. "Yes my father told me the only bad bounty hunter is a dead bounty hunter." There was a faint green glow that shone from the scales on the side of her face for a moment but she cleared her throat and smiled, her hair hiding any sign of residual anger.

Healthy wad of cash in hand, Jago watched her sit back down silently, setting her cup aside, she didn’t want another cup of tea. The world outside was getting dimmer and dimmer as the minutes ticked past, she’d been in there for hours.. Ah oh well. Grey eyes noticed the green flare as a form of extreme anger. Someone had daddy drama, Jago could see. It wasn’t her business of course.
Thinking that Ahta might want to finish her drink, Jago didn’t suggest leaving just yet, looking out the window and thinking. Bringing a bounty hunter to the Cirque was stupid, but that was alright by her. She hadn’t been stupid since… .. Okay, Jago made a living by being stupid so she wouldn’t say that. Reckless was more like it, but she was sure that they weren’t going to be exterminated this way. It was just her against trained killers, after all.

Ahta sipped at her coffee looking out the window again as she calmed herself down, it didn't take long but she needed to be completely calm if she was going into a nest of killers. She drained the glass tilting her head back before setting the cup down with a solid thunk. She pulled out several bills and laid them on the counter glancing over at Jago to make sure she was done. "All right if you're ready we can go." She gave a small smile and stood. "Your drinks are on me"

Jago laughed a little, raising her eyebrows and standing as well, stretching and putting on her coat, “You don’t have to do that.” But she put up no more fight than that, she’d simply have to pay for Ahta’s drinks sometime else.. Whenever the occasion arose. The bump in her lower abdomen was a little more prominent as she stretched, but she quickly hid it once more once the stretch was over. Nodding over out the door, Jago walked out, “This way.”

Ahta shrugged. "I wanted to." She followed her silently her feet rolling smoothly across the ground, and she put her hands in her pockets, her eyes darting around watching for any signs of trouble. She remained silent she'd answer questions if Jago had any, but she never really had much to say.

Going through things in her brain, Jago spoke again once they were going down the road, “The rest of the troupe probably won’t be in, or they won’t be where I’m showing you.” There wasn’t that much they could do today, with maintenance parts not coming in for a few days, and no shows for a while. Ah.. Though… “There will be two that you’ll probably see.” Her quickly growing family, of course.

Ahta nodded. "That's fine. Any reason why?" She asked out of pure curiosity, "And two will be enough. As I've said i'm not too sociable." She smiled a little. "The smaller the group the better most of the time."
